Michigan Science Center

The Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci), formerly known as the Detroit Science Center, was a great place for our special education classroom to learn and explore. Located in Midtown Detroit, the center offers a wide variety of hands-on exhibits and interactive spaces that are engaging and accessible for all learners.

During the trip, Mrs. Stringfellow and her class spent time in areas like Kids Town, the Space Gallery, and the Earth. Wind. Weather exhibit. The students were able to explore at their own pace, interact with different exhibits, and enjoy sensory-friendly experiences that supported their individual needs. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to build curiosity, practice communication, and simply enjoy learning in a fun, supportive environment.
